Kosmos Innovation Centre, CanCham & CCIFG CEO Breakfast Meeting
On February 7, 2025, the Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC), in collaboration with the Canada-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (CanCham) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Ghana (CCIFG), hosted a CEO Breakfast Meeting under the theme "Strategic Value and Impact Creation for Shared Prosperity and Growth."
The event provided a platform for business leaders to engage in thought-provoking discussions on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, particularly in youth entrepreneurship and social transformation. KIC’s sustainability focus on the agricultural sector and youth development was a key highlight, demonstrating how strategic investment in skills training can drive long-term economic progress.
Key discussions revolved around leveraging technology and innovation, moving beyond financial metrics to measure success through ESG impact, and the role of partnerships between businesses, governments, and civil society in addressing youth employment challenges.
The morning featured an insightful keynote by Prof. Daniel Ofori, a compelling presentation by the KIC Executive Director, and firsthand accounts from entrepreneurs supported by KIC. The event concluded with a networking brunch, allowing participants to strengthen connections and explore future collaborations.
